My name is John Winkler and I am the present owner of 564 Parliament St. My mother, Theresia Winkler purchased the property in 1955 and it has remained in the family since that time. I’m sending you a photo that was taken the summer of 1957, the summer I was born. It shows the three Darling Terrace residences still intact. I believe it was in the very early 60’s that 566 Parliament was altered by removing the bay window and adding the store front. My sister and a friend of the family are standing on the porch in the photo.

Around 1980, 562 Parliament St. came up for sale, asking price, $85,000.
