Andrea Burke has been a Cabbagetown homeowner since 1999 (formerly on the east side of Parliament, currently on the west side). She is a commercial litigator with the firm Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP. She has a B.Comm. (Joint Honours Economics/Finance) from McGill and an LL.B. (Honours) from University of Toronto. In her spare time, she (along with her husband) has been restoring an 1830’s farmhouse in Prince Edward County. This has resulted in a crash course in Ontario’s architectural heritage and means that she has learned such useful facts as where to source old glass for historically appropriate windows and the evils of Portland cement.
