  • Landscape Features: Garden with concrete path and steps to door

  • Other Information: Within the gable there is ornamental shingles; stone lintels and sills for the two bay windows; decorative arched brickwork above the door and the window above the door. Recessed porch has decorative wood trim 
  • Significant Facts: Artist Cephas Robins Beswetherick was the first resident of the home at 270 Seaton St. A Toronto archives photo (James Collection item 524) from May, 1902 includes the sign for his store, “Art Metropole Cephas R. Beswetherick, mgr. Artists materials” at 141 Yonge, near the Toronto Arcade.
