- Significant Facts: Artist Cephas Robins Beswetherick was the first resident of the home at 270 Seaton St. A Toronto archives photo (James Collection item 524) from May, 1902 includes the sign for his store, “Art Metropole Cephas R. Beswetherick, mgr. Artists materials” at 141 Yonge, near the Toronto Arcade.
